About Me

It was the 90s, between Masters of Universe, Saint Seiya and Juspion, coke candies, whipping-top and gude balls. There was me, a skinny and big headed boy (and I think this hasn’t changed very much since then), 5 years old, enjoying all the experiences that would influence my life until today.
Between ugly sketches of my favorite characters, RPG and games that I would come to know at my childhood, I ended up by discovering my love for drawing. It’s almost the same thing with everyone, you started as a kiddo and when you realize, POW! that’s the thing you want to do until the end of the life.
At my youth, s started to study more and to know great masters, those guys who you desire just to have 10% of their skills. Lomis, Eisner, Vallejo, Moebius, Watsuki, Otomo, Miyazaki… By seeing so many talents and know so infinite possibilities of an pure imagination world, I realized more and more what I wanted for me. On these “knowledge walks” I have the chance to meet closely talents, like Eduardo Cardenas and Carlos Campos, who helped me a lot whit their jobs and teaching.
Illustration was always a reality for me, and, even when I did some wrong vocational choices, this feeling was the thing that brought me back to follow my study line. I always loved comics, traditional drawing and, on the last few years, I discovered the digital painting and now I try to use all this areas at my work as illustrator and concept artist.
Even working with illustration, comics or games, I still know that we’re always learning something and this is my motivation to improve my skills every day.
About my work:
As concept artist and illustrator, I already worked with games at Elfland and Lumentech Game Development, and do some freelances and commissions for this market. Currently, i’m working at Tiradentes University at the e-learning area, producing some material and concepts and also doing other things, like webdesign for example.
I work at comic market, as a drawer, doing jobs for ComikZ, on a partership with the Lab Idéias studio and another side projects as well. I’m always looking for new opportunities, so, feel free to make contact.
